Fundación San Jorge was created in 1921 and was officially constituted in 1965 as a non-profit organization called "Fundación Educacional San Jorge". The statutes state: “Fundación Educacional San Jorge’s main objective is to support St George’s College and the well being of its pupils, by contributing to the school’s development according to the principles established by its Founders as well as the demands of present day education.”
Fundación Educacional San Jorge's primary objective is to provide Scholarships & Bursaries to families that share St George ́s College ́s ideals and values but cannot afford the entire fee.
Fundación is an independent legal and economic institution from Asociación de Beneficencia Dotal San Jorge, which manages both schools. For that reason the funds cannot have a different use than those established in the statutes.
Fundación Educacional San Jorge is managed by an Executive Committee and a Board of Trustees, and its members must be former pupils of St George's College.

The Fundacion Educacional San Jorge is a non-profit organization exclusively devoted to supporting St George’s College, a learning institution with a long tradition providing a well-rounded and demanding education, with funds to fulfill specific educational projects, scholarships for academic excellence and provide parents undergoing economic difficulties with financial support that enable their children to access a bi-lingual International curriculum of high standards, strong ethical values and character integrity, in order to become useful and successful citizens.
Our Mission is to strive to collect resources from the general community, to provide funding for specific St George’s College educationally-driven projects, scholarships for academic excellence and aid parents who need assistance to ensure their children receive an education of the highest standards.
